Credit Rating
The Wadaie platform offers Moody’s global ratings for the banks within its aggregation. These ratings represent Moody’s assessments of the banks' ability to fulfill their deposit obligations in foreign and/or local currencies on the specified dates. They also reflect the anticipated financial loss in the event of default. Deposit ratings are not applicable to deposits under general or specific insurance schemes but apply to the lowest category of uninsured deposits. However, in certain cases, they may account for the potential of official support extending to the lowest category of uninsured deposits and preferred insured deposits.
Moody’s Short-Term Rating Scale
P-1: Prime-1 ratings reflect a superior ability to repay short-term obligations.
P-2: Prime-2 ratings reflect a strong ability to repay short-term obligations.
P-3: Prime-3 ratings reflect an acceptable ability to repay short-term obligations.
NP: Issuers (or supporting institutions) rated as Not Prime do not fall within any Prime rating categories.
